I am not sure what to do about it, but upgrading with pip doesn't clean
the directory,
so there are old .pyc files lying around. Which leads to errors after
upgrade, like this one:

A college of mine just reported the same. Is there a way to fix that?
Recommend clean installs instead of upgrades?
