Hello All, Have any of you (the developers/web site admins) considered placing the links to lectures and videos in a more prominent place on the Scikit homepage? Perhaps a diagonal little ribbon similar to the Github ribbon so it draws some attention? I ask because the videos of the presentations that all of you do at PyData, Scipy, etc are fantastic and indescribably helpful, especially for those of us just getting started with Python and Scikit-Learn. You are all very, very good at breaking down these various topics in very intuitive ways and showing us very fast implementations.
I ask because I keep going to Youtube to watch all of them and wondered why I never saw them mentioned on the site. Then I went and looked and a lot of stuff is on the stie, I just had to dig a little bit to find it, which is no criticism by any means, but you're all so good at explaining it and making the material really interesting and practical, that you should move those presentations and videos up in the hierarchy of the site. One more thing, what about creating some merchandise like t-shirts? The Scikit logo and color scheme are both great and the aesthetics of the site are well-designed too. I think people would buy the shirts just like the Python t-shirts. Anyway, just my two cents. :D -Jason ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
