Hey, I am starting this thread to assist in tracking the progress of my GSoC project and to post my weekly blog posts.
Main objectives of my GSoC Project - 1. model_selection refactoring 2. Data independent CV Iterators. 3. Multiple Metric support 4. sample_weight etc support in grid_search 5. Attempt generalized grid search and early stopping 6. Additional CV strategies 7. Extensive contributor's guide 8. CV Tutorial (explaining best practices etc) 9. Add examples to all the estimators' docstring. Though I am currently running behind the tentative timeline, I will make sure that I finish my objectives ASAP. Apologies for the delays!
