Hi everyone,
Now that the project discussion phase for GSoC has started, I was wondering
if the project page will be updated if possible? Can the project of adding
fused type to cython files as discussed in issue #5973 and PR #5464 be
taken up if the community is interested? It seems a lot of memory is
unnecessarily wasted using data types which take more space than needed.
Fused types can help in this regard. It seems coordinate descent can
benefit greatly from this.
