The stacked estimators was certainly a team effort! I am excited that we've finally got a consistent solution to using approximate nearest neighbors with our neighbors-based learners.
Why is it still version <1? Perhaps it shouldn't be. But it can be hard to set aside perfectionism! And there's so much on the roadmap ( https://scikit-learn.org/stable/roadmap.html).
