I also use gtk scintilla on windows.

I do it because I wrote a Gtk application and don't have the time to
port the whole stuff to win32 API :)

May be a valid reason, isn't it ?

What about ... Because I don't have the time - or I'm lazy enough to
avoid - to port the whole stuff to Win32 API :-)

Right now there're much better windows themes - say wimp - for gtk on
windows. The wimp theme resembles the XP look or win98 look quite well.

This theme is the default one right on windows, and it's included with
gtk.

The behaviour of gtk apps on windows have been also improved.

ITOH there are still enought differences between win32 and Gtk apps, to
notice you're not running a win32 native application when using GTK.

Mostly focus issues.

I'm almost sure you'll only see gtk scintilla on win32 when looking at
gtk applications/libraries written for Unix/Linux, and then ported to
windows.
