I want to use a marker when the user searches for a word (SCI_FINDTEXT) and it's found. If I use a SC_MARK_CIRCLE as the marker, all work fine but, if I use a SC_MARK_BACKGROUND to highlight the whole line where the word resides, then the highlighted line isn't viewed until I click over that line or I force a repaint of the window by minimizing and restoring the window.
I've tried to force a window repaint (sending WM_PAINT, SCN_UPDATEUI or SCN_MODIFIED) but it doesn't work. How can I force a refresh?
