Hiya Joe

Use AUTOCSHOW to display a space separated list of words then you get some
notifications back when something has been selected.

My editor is for some in-house stuff at work so its been customised for
that, but basically at heart it's a Jscript editor it has project management
which works well and can handle include files. You can launch an external
process and it pipes output to an 'output' tab in a separate thread so can
be stopped and cant stop you working. It also hooks into a separate app I
created for documentation, so you can F1 and Shift+F1 to get help on
methods/properties that you have documented and built an 'api' out of. All
works quite nicely, if I say so myself ;-)

Subject: RE: [scintilla] Auto completion of javascript

Dan,

thanks for your answer. So assume I have this information, how do I add it
as "rules" to Scintilla for auto completion ? I created my own JScript
framewokr and parsing this and create f.e. an XML file of all objects and
their methods would be easy. Is there a simple way to just tell Scintilla
such a file and it would than autocomplete ?

You mentioned you wrote a jscript editor, what can it do more than the
standard editor ?
