Summary: save.always

Initial Comment:
I would like to have a save.always (or save.if.not.modified) option in SciTE. I can think of the following use cases:
1. Restoring a file that has been deleted.
2. "Touching" a file.
3. Correcting a file if we use strip.trailing.spaces or ensure.consistent.line.ends.
4. Copying a file between floppies.
I know I can make a change in the file, revert it and then save, but it's not optimal.

This would be a real annoyance! Errors if you open a read-only file, touch all files being looked at, lot of disk traffic. Really, since the method you mention works, I don't see a use of this feature.

Of course, I suppose your option means to save automatically an opened file when the buffer is closed, be it "dirty" or not.

If it just mean "Allows me to save a file with Ctrl+S (or menu item) even if the file is untouched", it is usable... and probably quite trivial to implement.

Note that Ctrl+Shift+S (Save As) alread allows that, with only the minor annoyance of asking if we want to overwrite an existing file.
