Sorry for the late reply but I was off for a couple of days. Anyways, thanks a lot and I got the basic syntax hi-lighting working, at least for all the SCE_LUA_* styles. However, there is no style defined for keyword listing. Is there any method via which I can assign a style id to a keyword list so that the keyword list gets colored automatically, or will I have to make changes in the lexer? I have read the examples but they are too basic (except ofcourse for SciTE, but its property reader code makes it very obfuscated and hard to get the relevant portions out).
Thanks in advance. -Zulfiqar Inayat Malik. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Florian Balmer Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 12:00 PM To: Discussion of the Scintilla editing component Subject: Re: [scintilla] Syntax hi-lighting Hello Zulfiqar You'll have to assign style information to the SCE_LUA_* ids (found in SciLexer.h) first, using the SCI_STYLESET* messages, and then activate the SCLEX_LUA lexer using the SCI_SETLEXER message. See http://scintilla.sourceforge.net/ScintillaDoc.html#StyleDefinition for more information. And there are some very good tutorial programs at the top of this document. --Florian _______________________________________________ Scintilla-interest mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.lyra.org/mailman/listinfo/scintilla-interest _______________________________________________ Scintilla-interest mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.lyra.org/mailman/listinfo/scintilla-interest
