Offline discussion of bug 1342035 bought up the issue that
Scintilla is not compliant with the specification of CF_TEXT and
CF_UNICODETEXT by not normalising line ends to CR+LF when copying.
Simon mentioned he had a patch for this. Is it available?

Didn't seem to receive the original of this message, but yes the patch
is available - I'll look it up and send it later today. The patch
currently normalises in only one direction (paste-only) but it shouldn't
be hard to ensure CR+LF on the way out.

These should be fairly current although I haven't done an update in the
