Initial Comment:
i tried to install scite
i like this editor very much on windows
but on linux i have problems with it.
i just made the fina switch from win32 to *nix.
i code allot and i need scite.
im using mandrake 10 official
please help me
i did the following
1 downloaded extracted scite.tgz
2 it made a gscite directory where i tried to run
SciTE file and it told me i dont have libstdc++.so.6
i got version 6.3.1 of that and now after i installed
it as root it SciTE started
3 Menu showed nothing at Languages
4 I took the latest rpm scite-1.58-aap2.i686.rpm
and installed it as root with rpm -i
scite-1.58-aap2.i686.rpm
5 i ran again scite and it showed stuff at languages menu
but as with the .tgz version also this .rpm version
has a big problem namely if i try to hit save as
  i get the following

Failed to load pixbuf file:
/usr/share/pixmaps/Sci48M.png: Failed to open file
'/usr/share/pixmaps/Sci48M.png': No such file or directory
./SciTE: relocation error: ./SciTE: undefined symbol:
