There has to be some way here you are referencing the ActiveX and thus the Scintilla control. Possibly you have application level code that says something like forms[current].sci.Text = "xxx". If this is the case, you may need to debug how the references are being managed. It could also be a problem in the ActiveX control that is only expecting there to be one Scintilla control in an application and is holding a reference to the most recently opened Scintilla in a global variable. I think you'll just have to debug the code, including the ActiveX control code.
