I'm not sure why honestly but the form is getting focus when clicking on scintilla and loosing focus when leaving scintilla.  I thought perhaps because scintilla is sending the messages to that form.  I know if I use sendmessage to send a WM_SETFOCUS command to the form even if it technicly has no focus it will execute the gotfocus event.  Thats the only thing I could come up with but perhaps I'm wrong.  If this is not the case any idea what may be wrong?  Thanks

Sounds like focus is going wrong if the form is getting these
events rather than Scintilla. Unless it is getting a lostfocus when a
click on Scintilla moves focus from the form to Scintilla.
