I can see why this is wanted (although the demonstrated value colour is too bright for me) but am concerned over the degree of compatibility. Do other people feel it is worthwhile? It'd be more compatible to leave one side or the other as SCE_PROPS_DEFAULT, probably the keys. For names, I'd prefer SCE_PROPS_KEY over SCE_PROPS_LEFT and SCE_PROPS_VALUE over SCE_PROPS_RIGHT.
