Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Martin Halle (mortenmacfly) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Matlab Lexer enhancement? Initial Comment: Dear all, I have a question concerning the Matlab part of the (amazing!) scintilla lexer: If you read through the documentation of Matlab you'll find that there is only a minimal subset of commands really defined as "keywords". You can get the list if you're using the Matlab "iskeyword" command. Hence there are a lot more keywords and additional keywords that come with additional toolboxes. I therefore would like to propose for the Matlab lexer instead of only having a single category "Keywords" in the word list description to add "Additional Keywords" and "Toolbox Keywords". IMHO this would enhance the syntax highlighting a lot. Especially the ability to seperate Toolbox keywords from Matlab "default" ones would be great! Because then you quickly visualise the requirement of additional toolboxes within your sourcecode. If I understand scintilla right then everything that would be required to do is to adopt the "matlabWordListDesc[]" in LexMatlab.cxx. How dou you think about that?
