Are you synced to current CVS or Scintilla 1.67? Version 1.149 of ScintillaGTK.cxx has a guard around this: "Avoid runtime warning by only calling gdk_window_resize when calltip window set to not be NULL." The mail thread was "GTK CallTip issue".
