I couldn't find that post in the Scite list. Are you referring to the the LUA
extension DLL stuff?: http://lua-users.org/wiki/SciteLuaDll
If so, I actually tried this route already. I managed to get silent execute to
(mostly) work as an extension DLL, but couldn't get popen to work. I managed
to put together a script using temp files to pretty much meet my needs. It's
not pretty but at least it works.
