I was directed here by Neil Hodsgon for submitting a bug, and I hope it's the right place for this bug.

The find in files feature in Scite does not work correctly at times. It finds the required string, but shows up a wrong line number, as can be seen in the two screenshots I've submitted. You can see the line where the pattern is in both cases, but the line highlighted is wrong. I had to zip the 2 screenshots. I'm sorry for the image quality but SF only allows uploads less than 256KB.

If I am interpreting the [somewhat blurry] images properly, it looks to me like SciTE is doing the correct thing - as far as it can tell.

If there *is* a problem, it seems like the compiler is placing the wrong line number in the error message - which is what SciTE must go by.
