Category: SciTE Group: Bug Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nicolas Chachereau (nchachereau) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Linux : Loop on opening protected file Initial Comment: Steps to reproduce the bug: - Lauch SciTE on GNU/Linux - Open a file for which you don't have permissions to read - SciTE opens a dialog complaining that it can't open the file. Click "OK". Expected result: SciTE closes the dialog and I can get back to editing already opened files, opening another one, closing SciTE, and so on. Actual result: After clicking "OK", SciTE continues to try to open the file, opening the same dialog ad vitam aeternam (ie until you kill it...) and preventing me from resuming my work (or even saving any amended file).
