Summary: horizontal scroll does not show found text when searching

Initial Comment:
The horizontal scroll does not adjust to show the found text when searching for
text in a file with very long lines if the horizontal scroll before the search
is set far enough to the right before performing the search.

The best way to explain this issue is by example. Please see the attached
file. To reproduce:

1) Set the cursor to position 0,0.
2) Search for the text "find-me"
3) Search for the next occurrence of "find-me"
4) Search for the next occurrence of "find-me"

In steps 3 & 4 the horizontal scroll is adjusted such that the cursor is
visible to the far left of the visible screen, but the found text is not
displayed.

Try the same thing in notepad (or some other similar text editor) to see
different behavior.

I would expect search to reset the horizontal scroll reset to zero and then
moved right until the found text is displayed if the found text is not visible
at the current horizontal scroll position.
