For intercepting window message, i need to get a handle to the call tip window, is it possible ? (i didnt find the answer by myself in the doc) or is there a message sent when a caracter is pressed when call tip window is under the mouse pointer ?
The Scintilla window processes key presses while the call tip window is displayed. Most characters should result in a SCN_CHARADDED notification then you can check whether the calltip is active with SCI_CALLTIPACTIVE. Assuming you are on Windows, if you need raw keys then subclass the Scintilla window. The calltip window is a subwindow of the Scintilla window and has the class name "CallTip" so you can use FindWindowEx.
