Riverbank Computing is pleased to announce the release of QScintilla v2.0
available from http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/qscintilla/.
QScintilla is a port to the Qt toolkit of Scintilla, that includes the
complete message based API and also a high-level API more familiar to
existing Qt users.
QScintilla v2 has a different (and incompatible) API to QScintilla v1. Both
Qt v4 and Qt v3 are supported. X11 (Linux and UNIX), Windows and MacOS/X
platforms are supported. Python bindings are also included.
Changes since the last release include:
- based on Scintilla v1.73
- support for the Cmake, D and VHDL lexers added to the high-level API
- significantly improved support for auto-completion and call tips.
Like Qt, QScintilla is available under the GPL and a commercial license.
