I'm having a problem with the gtk build of scintilla that I am not really understanding. Our build works fine on ubuntu with gtk 2.10.11, but fails (same binaries) on suse 10.2 with gtk 2.10.6.
Current CVS works for me on Suse 10.2 (free edition) with GTK+ 2.10.6 inside Virtual Box under Windows. I installed from the DVD ISO, set location=Sydney and asked for most of the development tools (Basis, Python, GNOME) when installing then ran the package updater to upgrade everything. Some difficulty installing SciTE (sudo sees different packaging information to the user account so .properties files aren't installed where the executable expects them) but even before fixing that up, SciTE was able to process typing input.
