Hi all, There has been a PR for adding complex waveform functionality for complex chirp. [ https://github.com/scipy/scipy/pull/17318 ]
I opened this pull request some time ago. However, it fell through the cracks and I forgot. I recently had the time to finish it. This pull request makes the generated chirp waveform complex if the complex flag is set to True. I believe that this is important for people working on wireless communications, radar, etc. With this change, it's possible to use a wider bandwidth thanks to the complex baseband. Based on the discussion in PR, I've also improved the documentation. I've rearranged the formulas and explanations. Please let me know what you think.
