command.go.needs.*.php=constructURL command.go.needs.subsystem.*.php=3 command.go.*.php="c:\\path\\to\\firefox.exe" $(url) command.go.subsystem.*.php=1
Where the "go.needs" lines (correctly) call the Lua function and generate the URL from the file name (generated as a global Lua variable named "url"), and the "go" command itself launches my browser.
This doesn't work because the command.go.needs and command.go are evaluated and added to the execution queue then the queue processor is started.
I see. That all makes sense. Looks like my solution in my other reply is the best way to do it then. Thanks Neil _______________________________________________ Scite-interest mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.lyra.org/mailman/listinfo/scite-interest
