The role of locale.properties is to translate user interface text into other languages. Using it to specify code page information would make the program less flexible, making it more difficult for, say, a user that wants a French user interface to display Chinese files. > Have you a list of all codepages that scite supports? You can import into user properties. The import statement reads a file relative to the current file. > or have you problems with the length of the property-string (>255). Properties are not themselves limited in length but may be used in system calls that do not allow unlimited length. This is noticeable when opening files and using filters in the file open dialog. > are there any strings that must be translated and when yes, where do i found > these strings in scite (length=>fully displayed?)? All translated strings are listed in locale.properties. In SciTE they exist in many places as literals and in resource files. > - "SciTE adds command equivalents for fold margin mouse actions" > is this the folding patch that enables fold open/close with shortcuts? > which shortcuts are defined for this? i found no shortcut in the menu for > toggle current fold. This was discussed on the mailing list. Neil _______________________________________________ Scite-interest mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.lyra.org/mailman/listinfo/scite-interest
