Neil Hodgson:
April's new features are committed to CVS and also available from
I'm testing and in all tests, -@ works fine as expected (or better) but
-- and - doesn't nothing at all. Seems like SciTE dismiss - or -- switches.
This commands are worked nice:
$ find -iname '*.cxx' | SciTE -@
$ ls | SciTE -@
$ grep -l ProcessCommandLine * | grep -v \.o$ | SciTE -@
This other ones not worked:
$ uname -r | SciTE -
$ uname -r | SciTE --
$ cat /etc/profile | SciTE -
$ cat /etc/profile | SciTE --
$ grep -l ProcessCommandLine * | grep -v \.o$ | SciTE -
$ grep -l ProcessCommandLine * | grep -v \.o$ | SciTE --
SciTE just starts and, if abailavle, restores the session (as always).
May be I'm confused in some point. Any comments?
Thanks!
Additionally, a suggestion:
When using -@, if a processed filename not exist, do not open a buffer.
This could be garbage from stdin like in the output by:
$ grep ProcessCommandLine * | cut -f1 -d:
If you have .o files in the searching directory (scite/gtk), then grep
says something like "binary match" that not is a file name.
Thanks again!
