A brief announcement. SciTEHexEdit is a simple hex editor written
as a Lua extension. There is a hex pane and an ASCII pane. You can
browse, edit hex numbers or ASCII characters and save the changes.
I'm not sure whether to applaud or cringe ;-) The user interface is
umm, nostalgic.
Subconciously, I was probably aiming for "applaud *and* cringe."
:-) Now, if the haze in Malaysia does not clear, I will be forced
to dig up some Othello code and inflict more bizzare creations on
the list. ;-)
It is also sort of an attempt to explore methods of running a
script of non-trivial complexity of this sort without hooking up
with the event handlers. Or, an exercise in desperation, if you
will. :-)
If anyone on the list has some sort of framework to handle
automagically multiple handlers for each event hook, I would like
to hear of it. I sure could use something like that...
