Not "missing", but "invisible"...
Why do you want to deselect wrapping?

I deselect wrapping because the data is fixed-width, and I need to see the columns of each row lined up horizontally. Although even with just one row of data it gets to looking nonsensical when I apply wrapping and it gets jumbled up in a nasty block of text where I can't really tell what the spacing at the ends of a "wrap" are.

With SciTE? The problem isn't new, it was always there. That's strange.

The problem is either new in SciTE 1.63 or something about it's default configuration options. This work I do is seasonal, so I hadn't worked with any of these files for a few months now. This is why I'm back at 1.63 and not the latest. I'll also try upgrading and see what occurs.
