Well, the column is already narrow, so you must have a very small window to hide text... And you can still scroll or maximize the window. But if the text was longer, it is a waste of space when printing, unless designing a special print stylesheet.

I find it nice too, although the dark orange text on black background is a bit hard on my old eyes...

The banner is a bit strange. "Editor for X"?
And I prefer when SciTE is correctly capitalized... I saw to many Scite or SciTe or other variants... Nice font here.
