You should provide which Windows system you are using (95, 98, NT4,
2000, XP, SP?) and which version of SciTE hangs.
I used a lot SciTE to edit PHP files this summer, inclusing files with
various heredocs, and it never hung on me. But my version is getting old...
Perhaps you should also provide a minimal sample of PHP file showing the
behaviour you describe.
