Would it be possible to include a "dual pane" feature in Scite in addition to the traditional tab feature? In case no one knows what I mean by dual pane take a look at this screenshot:
http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=12/34517142316.jpg&s=x11 While that example is imperfect in that those are clearly three seperate windows instead of one unified (in appearance as is the case with dual pane file managers like Midnight Commander and Krusader.) it makes it easier to view data on two or more documents than a tabbed view does since the need to switch tabs is all but eliminated.
I have also noticed that there already exists an output window which opens up as a pane to the right of a document in order to display what I am assuming is output from a compiler or an interpereter depending on the type of file being worked on. Could this currently existing feature not be adapted to perform the task I am suggesting?
