No argument with that... it's just that I'm probably used to (1) the default drag being a move rather than copy [with obvious exceptions, like dragging a file from non-writable media in a graphical file manager] and (2) the modifier functioning when pressed *before* (as well as after) beginning the click/drag. > Extending selection on Shift+Click and Shift+Drag is also standard > behaviour.
