OTOH, the HxD hex editor from the link provided by Frank is fairly
nice... fast, light-weight (in use - the executable is huge), easy to
use, "different" (but nice if you need them) features. :)

Yes, but I think its a mistake to try to do too much with one
program. Its better to have multiple smaller applications that can be
used in combination.
