I have an additional suggestion. It's nice to copy
file names to Output pane. That's the fast way to
create selectively the file list of open files.
I already use this option. I added the new item in the
Menu, something like "/Tools/File Name to Output",
and than I use
OutputAppendString(buffers.buffers[buffers.Current()].FullPath());
OutputAppendString("\n");
in SciTEBase::MenuCommand
As for me it's really effective.
