Hello ,

I wrote this list once before in regards to trying to get python
raw_input support into the output pane *but* was told 'although support
for it exist in Windows, Linux doesn't quite support it at all...'.

OK. Are there any workarounds that might prove better than this? I am
all ears for any suggestions!

command.name.3.*.py=Gnome-Python-Terminal
command.3.*.py=gnome-terminal -x python '$(FilePath)'

I only use the above when ever I have raw_inputs in the script *but* I
notice SciTE will freeze up a lot here and there using this technique.

Inline support for raw_input on Linux like Windows would be awesome but
if no one can get to it, I'll really be happy with any workarounds!

''' ========================================================== '''

Thank the high heavens for the gen_python_api.py file because without
it, life would be lame. I noticed two things about it which so far makes
it appear limited.

1. If I create an object like so:

        l = []  # then attempt to apply a method like so:
        l.append(1) # the dot does not open up a list of methods...

Q. Is this intended? Is there a setting I could be missing? Is this a
possible limitation :( ?

Another thing I noticed about the python.api file generated is, when
attempting to call built-ins like range, list, etc, a truncated
docstring returns.

Q. Is this intended? Is there a setting I could be missing? Is this a
possible limitation :( ?

Although, the second question is no real big deal, some functions which
I haven't gotten to work with yet, might prove difficult without the
extra help in the docstring. Is there a way to enable it?
