Some information about my system. It is Fedora Core 5. Sometimes I have such problem (I use Gnome). When I open file using Nautilus everything goes ok. But sometimes after this when I try to select menu (any of menus), application just quits. It happens only sometimes, I can not reproduce this behaviour. May somebody explain what is going on?
