Amy Langenhorst:
Would it be possible to at least make an option to disable the HTML folding exceptions for XML in a future SciTE release? I took a quick look at LexHTML.cxx, but I don't know enough to fix this.
You could report the bug on the tracker so that it stays visible but getting a bug fixed requires someone wanting to develop and test the fix. https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=2439&atid=102439
I'm also still concerned about the "fold.on.open" option. Since we tend to drill down through our XML files, it would also be very useful to have every single fold closed on opening a file. It seems that the "fold.on.open" option should do this, but it seems to just fold the top level fold and leave the rest open inside it. Is this the expected behavior, or is it unique to my installation?
Its normal. Folding behaviour was based on languages (Python, C++) with multiple top level entities. Neil _______________________________________________ Scite-interest mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.lyra.org/mailman/listinfo/scite-interest
