AFAIK uses the windows printing system the same Graphic Device functions as the screen 'printing' does. There should be no difference in printout, exept of the different viewport-width. On unix there is no device indepentend equivalent for printing on screen, so scite uses a2ps or u2ps for printing which uses there own lexing, styling and default page formatting. My prefered way to get formatted colored printout is to export as rtf, open it with openoffice, format it to two columns and print it.
