I noticed the documentation says scite will *try* to fold as much as it can. What exactly is the criteria used by scite to determine whether it folds or not?
I think it was left a little fuzzy in case the folding clashed with another aspect such as avoiding the caret disappearing because of a fold. I don't know all the factors that can cause the fold to be incomplete and expect that it depends on the order in which settings and commands are applied.
