What do you mean when you say 'wide character enabled'? I'm not sure i understood you in correct way.
Changing the dialog so that on Windows versions that support them (NT, 2K, XP) it uses the *W Unicode calls. Converting back and forth as needed. This was done for the main Find/Replace dialog by Florian Balmer a couple of years ago.
