Well, no, that isn't what I meant. :)
I really did think (without thinking about it too much) that the
commented lines were intended to show the *default* - i.e., the value
that you don't need to supply if you are happy with what is shown.
In particular, I did check the SciTE's source for this particular
property ("visible.policy.slop"), and the commented value did seem to
match the coded behavior.
Overall, the "commented values are NOT the default" convention may be
spottily adhered-to... but perhaps it is the intended ideal.
