i have isolated the problem. depending on my configuration for use on usb-stick i have not a "normal" SciteUser, because SciteUser has to be in %userprofile%. this is no good option for multiple computers. i had put my sciteuser into the scite-app-dir and added "import SciteUser" to the SciteGlobal.properties. so my SciteUser is handled as normal config-file... can you make a property to set the path of SciteUser? This may solve this problem... regards Frank -- "Feel free" - 10 GB Mailbox, 100 FreeSMS/Monat ...
