Is there a way I can change the default find / find+replace expression?
Having a combobox history is quite nice but I'd rather my last search was
there by default instead of the word at the current caret position.
There is no support for this so you will need to change the source
code to achieve it. If you are after exactly the same search as last
time then use F3.
I was annoyed too, so I added a property:
# 0=no preload of Find textbox, 1=preload only with current selection,
# 2=preload with selection or if none, with word under caret.
find.replace.selection=1
2 is the current behaviour, I think.
Might need an option to preload with previous search too.
I am not yet happy with my changes, I am searching a (possibly
impossible) setting (semi-psychic) for the Replace dialog where sometime
it puts the focus on the Search field (nothing selected) sometime in the
Replace one (something selected, just paste or type the replacement
string, often just a slight variation of the search one).
