I just have to ask - since most of what is discussed above pertains to the GTK+ version of SciTE, are there any GTK/Linux test builds available? ;)
I did do Windows builds of the latest CVS sources of both Scintilla and SciTE, and nothing seems obviously wrong, BTW.
