I tend to have many makefiles on my system with names such as
Makefile.inc, etc. I have thus set:
file.patterns.make=makefile*;Makefile*;configure*
in my User Options file. While SciTE syntax hilights files called
makefile and Makefile ok, there seem to be two (related?) problems:
(1) SciTE doesn't syntax hilight files called eg. Makefile.inc as a
makefile; rather, it seems to invoke some other (unidentifiable by me)
lexer/settings - and yes, *.inc does appear in a file.patterns variable
in several other language property files. So how does SciTE resolve
conflicting file.patterns?
(2) SciTE doesn't syntax hilight files called eg. Makefile.xxx at all (or
rather, perhaps, as plain text).
Using SciTE 1.73 on linux x86_64 (gtk+-2.8.20)
