No, that sounds too hard.;) It's good to have a canonical distribution, and focus on improving that. It's true that we all have semi-marginal obsessions (this week I'm thinking about Lua extensions) but they mostly can be accomodated. I think, for instance, that we all agree that SciTE is Not an IDE.
