The background color property does not work the same in windows and
linux. In linux, it is silver gray, but in windows it is almost not
seen. It happens the same with dark blue, in windows it is a very, very
light blue. The comment in the configuration file says something about
low-resolution display devices, but all systems I have tested provide
24-bit colors.
I checked this in 1.73, doesn't know whether it was solved in 1.74 or
not.
