"PipeName" is just giving "ipc.scite.name" a default value so could go into ipc.scite.name
That makes sense.
I don't see any use for "current.pid".
I put it in because it's useful for a script to know which SciTE instance it belongs to. For instance, if I wanted to perform an operation on _another_ SciTE instance I can just go over the default public pipe patterns and not select the one using current.pid. steve d _______________________________________________ Scite-interest mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.lyra.org/mailman/listinfo/scite-interest
